About Jeff Lim, Founder
Jeff Lim founded HP Roofing Pro in 2018 with a perspective that few commercial roofing contractors share: he had been the client.
Jeff graduated from UCLA with degrees in Mathematics and Economics, then spent over eight years in the public sector with the United States General Services Administration (GSA). In the Public Building Service (PBS) division, he managed commercial property portfolios and oversaw large capital improvement roofing projects across multiple federal facilities.
That work covered every category of commercial roofing: single-ply membrane installations, roof coating restorations, and full tear-off and reinstallation projects. As the decision-maker on the client side, Jeff evaluated contractor proposals, negotiated scope, monitored execution, and lived with the long-term consequences of every roofing decision. That experience shaped the founding principles of HP Roofing Pro.
Founded in 2018 in Alhambra, California, HP Roofing Pro was built around what Jeff learned matters in commercial roofing decisions: permanence, documentation, regulatory compliance, and the kind of long-term accountability that survives staff turnover, ownership changes, and market cycles.
