Protecting a Montebello Dental-Supply Warehouse
SOS Dental Supply distributes dental and medical products from a 10,000-square-foot facility in Montebello, a building full of inventory that does not mix well with water. Its roof had reached the end of the road: a built-up membrane stripped of its protective granules, brittle waterproofing asphalt, and flashings and HVAC curbs that had cracked open. Leaks had escalated from nuisance to genuine threat, putting stored product directly at risk.
An Honest Assessment, Not an Automatic Replacement
Competing bids pushed a full tear-off and re-roof at roughly double to triple the cost, and that approach would have left the building open to the elements while crews worked. The reflective white finish now keeps the interior cooler and the energy bills lower while the inventory stays dry, all for a fraction of what a replacement would have cost.
